On September 17, 2024, the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship brought together global leaders and feminist activists to discuss how feminist foreign policies (FFPs) could advance gender equality and serve as tools to counter the growing anti-rights backlash. The discussion focused on key learnings from the Mexico Conference, the impact of feminist movements in the MENA region, and future directions for FFPs leading up to the Paris meeting. This timely event deepened the global conversation on feminist policies and strengthened collaboration across regions. This event was organized in collaboration with Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México, IMUJERES, El Colegio de México, as well as the Embassies of Mexico, Chile, and Colombia in Lebanon.
