Abstract

This policy brief, aimed at advancing the right to safe abortion in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), is grounded in the outcomes of a workshop that brought together feminist activists from across the region and representing diverse professional backgrounds, including medicine, sexual and reproductive health and rights, journalism, academia, project management, and movement building. The workshop was organized by the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship at the American University of Beirut.
