Towards a Care Agenda in MENA

Project Description

This project aims to advance the care agenda in the MENA region by establishing a MENA working group through the Global Alliance for Care. Key activities include forming a regional network of feminist groups, creating a virtual knowledge hub on care, launching a research competition for young researchers, and organizing strategic meetings and workshops. The project culminated in the formal launch of the MENA chapter of the Global Alliance for Care in early 2024, with a focus on promoting care work, improving regional policies, and fostering collaboration.
