On September 17, 2024, the Asfari Institute brought together global leaders and feminist activists to discuss how feminist foreign policies (FFPs) could advance gender equality and counter the anti-rights backlash, focusing on Latin America’s leadership, supporting vulnerable women, and recommendations for Mexico and other Global South states.

High-Level Advocacy Event: Barriers to Women’s Access to Senior Public Positions in Lebanon
On June 21st, 2024, the Asfari Institute, Nordic Embassies, and Council of Ministers held a High-Level Advocacy Event at AUB. It addressed barriers to women’s senior public positions in Lebanon, featuring speeches from notable figures and launching an outcome document to advance gender equality. The event concluded with a Q&A and lunch reception.
