On May 9, 2023, the Asfari Institute convened a discussion on Feminist Foreign Policies (FFPs) and feminist diplomacy with the Mexican and Canadian Foreign Services, ILGA World, the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. One of the aims of this event was to discuss how FFPs in various contexts have been designed, implemented, and have impacted feminist movements and women human rights defenders. In doing so, the event sought to frame the definition of feminist diplomacy and the ways it can push and support an intersectional feminist agenda.
