Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Progress, Rollbacks, Opportunities for Solidarity Action

Introduction

Feminist movements have been organizing and mobilizing to defend and progress sexual and reproductive rights (SRHR) leading to a global trend of liberalization of restrictive legislative frameworks. These successes have been met with significant backlash from conservative forces, also organized domestically and transnationally, who are strategizing and mobilizing to stem the tide of progress on SRHR.

On the 2nd of September 2022, Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship organized a roundtable discussion on the experiences of rollbacks and attacks on SRHR, good practices, and concrete solidarity steps with Alejandra Coll and Maya Ammar, moderated by Paola Salwan Daher.
